All 2021 MotoGP grid places barring the second Aprilia seat are now confirmed with Luca Marini and Enea Bastianini named as stepping up from Moto2 to join the premier-class with Avintia Ducati.

That remaining seat is the second official Aprilia entry alongside Espargaro and will depend on the outcome of Iannone's doping appeal to the CAS.

Two race winners currently without a place are Andrea Dovizioso and Cal Crutchlow. Dovizioso has announced that he will leave Ducati, while Crutchlow has lost his seat to Alex Marquez.

Their only full-time option would be to replace Iannone at Aprilia, something Crutchlow has expressed interest in, or look towards a factory test riding and wild-card deal, which Dovizioso appears to be leaning towards.
